This is from Deanne's downloadable pattern and video called Blue Sea Abstract. But I made it a bigger size and drew my own lines so of course wasn't able to hook it as she did in the video. But the guidelines, techniques, principles, etc. she taught were still applicable, and I've tried to pay attention and incorporate them into my rug. I've never done just one color or an abstract before, and I'm really not sure how successful this is technically.  But I will say that it's been fun to do and I like it so far, so that it definitely one kind of success🙂. I've been working on it nearly every day thanks to the 10 minute challenge, so I expect to have it finished before long.Â

I want to show you some little tips here on the Pom members site. Right now I am crazy about flower pots. These are very simple designs I am doing right now but it is their simplicity that is difficult to carry off. For this orange pot I used sexy jersey and highlighted it with rust slub.
